Thieves said 'thank you'
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, February 2. Thieves wrote “thank you” to the manager of the Farmers’ Co-operative. Ltd, Patea, before leaving the premises with a variety of goods last night. The building, in Egmont Street, the town’s main street, was one of two businesses entered during the night. Goods taken included watches, transistors, rifles, ammunition, suitcases, electric razors, sheath knives, and canteens of cutler,’. The words "thank you” were written on a pad on the manager’s desk.
