Five hurt near lake
Five persons were taken to hospital after a head-on collision between two cars at Harper River, near Lake Coleridge, about 3 pun. on Saturday.
Two of the five injured were admitted to Christ-' church Hospital, and a third* was taken to Burwood Hospital. Robert Brickmann, aged, 24. of 1 Fairford Street. Bishopdale, suffered head and leg injuries in the accident.' He was admitted to Christchurch Hospital, where his: condition last evening was; Barry John Lennon, aged 29. of 40 Rhodes Street, Meri- * vale, was also admitted to ; Christchurch Hospital. He suffered head injuries and I lacerations and his condition) last evening was also satis-! factory. Robyn Brickmann. aged 24,* of 1 Fairford Street, suffered, moderately serious head injuries. She was admitted to Burwood Hospital and her condition was reported to be quite satisfactory. Two other persons injured tn the accident. Leo Callaghan, aged 48. of 5? Bramwell Street. Dallington. and Glenn Brickmann. of 1j Fairford Street, were treated' at Christchurch Hospital and; discharged.
