More than $lO,OOO in cash I has been found in a purse ■ which police say belonged to ■ Mrs E. Howart Hunt, whose I husband has been indicted ■ in connection with the “Watergate burglary” of the I Democratic Party national I headquarters in Washington.

Mrs Hunt was killed in the United Airlines crash.

Police recovered the purse while sifting through the rubble of the crash. It contained $lO,OOO in $lOO bills and an additional $585 in smaller bills.

Hunt, a former White House consultant to PresiI dent Nixon and a one-time 1C.1.A. official, was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury on September 15 on charges of conspiring to break into Democratic national committee headquarters at the Watergate apartment complex, intercepting phone calls of Democratic Party officials, conspiracy to commit burglary, possession of eavesdropping equipment and conspiring to intercept or disIclose telephone communicai tions.

Trial is tentatively set for January.
