Trade fair plans

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 8. New Zealand participation in three overseas trade fairs next year was announced yesterday by the export committee of the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation. The events are the Djakarta Trade Fair from June 17 to July 29, the Suva Trade Fair in late July, and the International Engineering Exhibition in Melbourne from July 30 to August 4. A spokesman for the federation (Mr L. J. Rollo) said the Suva Exhibition would concentrate mainly on furniture, furnishings, household hardware, and building materials. He said national stands would be prepared by the Department of Trade and Industry to house exhibits from New Zealand at the Melbourne and Djakarta events.
