The contract involves the excavation of existing ballast and stock piling for future use in this contract, excavation and removal of existing soil and construction of basecourse and bituminous top course. The total area involved is 11,000 sq. yds approximately. Plans and specifications are available from District Engineer’s Office, 2nd Floor, Christchurch Railway Station.
