Pillion rider injured
A pillion passenger on a motor-cycle, Suzanne Fay Race, of 17 Mattingly Street Aranui, suffered a fractured leg and fairly serious head injuries when the machine was involved in a collision with a car at the intersecton of Bealey Avenue and Sherborne Street at 10.30 p.m.
yesterday. The rider of the motorcycle, Alan Bishop, of 26 Hampshire Street, Wainoni, suffered a fractured arm and facial lacerations. Both were admited to Christchurch Hospital. A motor-cyclist. Richard lan Burton, of 15 Tirangi Street Homby, suffered facial lacerations and a knee injury when he was involved in a collision with a car at the intersection of Matipo Street and Riccarton Road about 930 p.m. yesterday. He was admitted to Christchurch Hospital.
