Play prize

The first prize of $75 in the Theatre Federation’s one-act playwriting competition has been won by Elizabeth Moir, of Wellington. The judge, Eve Hughes, of Christchurch, chose Miss Moir’s entry, “Irish Case in Brief,” as the best submitted. The second prize of $5O went to Valdemar Andersen, of Manurewa, for “The Bitches,” and Geoffrey Hitchcock, of Taupo, received third prize of $25 for "But It Won’t Lie Down.”-
