Lecturer for church
A Christian Science lecturer, Miss Jane Robbins, of Boulder, Colorado, will give a public address entitled "Freedom to be Yourself” in Christchurch on Sunday, September 24. Her visit is being sponsored by the First Church of Christ, Scientist, and her lecture will be given at the Church Edifice, 63 Worcester Street, at 3 p.m. Miss Robbins will discuss today’s “identity crisis” and how a deepened understanding of man’s relationship to God can help. The Canadian-born Miss Robbins began devoting her full time to the public practice of Christian Science healing in 1955 and later became a teacher of Christian Science. She is now on tour as a member of the board of lectureship of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston Massachusetts.
