After three rounds of the $U5126,000 Greater St Louis golf classic, D. Beman held a one-stroke lead from his fellow American. L. Trevino. On Saturday, Beman scored a three under-par 67 to be 198 after 54 holes. Trevino yesterday had a 66 after a brilliant nine in which he scored a 31, four under the card.
Third on 201, is another American, R. Goalby, who also had a 66 on Saturday. J. Lister (New Zealand) failed to qualify for the third round of the tournament.
