Karepo back in 2 weeks

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, March 31. Laid up in Dunedin since January, the Union Steam Ship Company’s 3222-ton cargo ship Karepo will be back in service in two weeks. The vessel will sign a new crew of 30 on April 13 and is due to sail for Tauranga the next day to load newsprint for Australia. She was withdrawn from the Tasman run in January because of a fall-off in demand for newsprint in Australia. A drop in newspaper advertising was blamed for this.
