U.N. talks delegation

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 31. The Minister of Overseas Trade (Mr Taiboys) will represent New Zealand at the third United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (U.N.C.T.A.D.) in Santiago, Chile. The meeting will be attended by more than 2000 delegates from about 140 countries. It begins the week after next. Mr Taiboys will also visit Peru during his Latin American visit, and he expects to hold discussions with Peruvian and Chilean Ministers on New Zealand’s trade with the two countries. The New Zealand delegation to U.N.C.T.A.D. will also include New Zealand’s permanent representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva (Mr B. S. Lendrum), Mr J. J. Bryant, of the Treasury, Miss F. M. C. Lee, of the fndustries and Commerce Department, Mr R. J. Gates, of New Zealand’s permanent mission to the United Nations, New York, and Mr S. S. Carlaw, of the Foreign Ministry.
