Blood given at Lyttelton

The North Canterbury Hospital, Board's mobile blood transfusion' unit visited Lyttelton on Thursday to receive olood donations. In the past the unit has worked from the Centennial Hail, on the waterfront, but donors are now received at the headquarters of the St John Ambulance water-1 front division, behind the post office. This division now consists of 42 men drawn from several, waterfront sources. More than 100 donors gave blood on ThursThe next visit will be on August 3, a spokesman said.
