The defending champion, K. R. Rosewall, will meet the Queenslander, M. Anderson, in the final of the Australian open tennis championships today. Rosewall, aged 37, defeated A. Stone, 7-6, 6-1, 3-6, 6-2, and Anderson, aged 36, accounted for the Russian A. Metreveli, 6-2, 7-6, 7-6, in yesterday’s semi-finals. The women’s final will be between the Wimbledon champion E. Goolagong (Australia) and Miss V. Wade (Britain).
