Victims of pick-pocket

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 30. A skilful pick-pocket has stolen wallets containing nearly $3OO from two racegoers on the Ellerslie course. Detective Senior - Sergeant C. Sturt said today that one. man lost $258, which he was carrying in a hip pocket. Another lost $3O and his wallet also lifted from a hip pocket. Both the men lost their money on Boxing Day, after they had been to a pay-out window.

Mt Sturt said the police believe the thief would strike again and warned the racegoing public to take care of their money.
