WHANGAREI, Dec. 30.
Wreckage and a motor have been found on rocks at Cable Bay by searchers for a fisherman missing near Doubtless Bay, in Northland.
William Joseph Richardson, aged 25, was expected to return from a fishing trip between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Wednesday. He left Mangonui alone in his 18ft boat on December''2B and was reported overdue at 7 a.m. today. The wreckage has not been identified. An R.N.Z.A.F. Orion is helping the police search of the sea and coastline.
