Two girls injured

Two girls, both aged 13, were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital early this morning after a car in which they were travelling struck four parked cars on the Sumner Road, near Shag Rock, about 11 p.m- yesterday. The girls are Katrina Clarkson, of 6 Aidgate Street, Northcote, and Janete Wheal, who is on holiday in Christchurch and living at 36 Bay View Road, Redcliffs. Their condition was not available this morning. Two other passengers in the same car were also taken to hospital, but had not been admitted early this morning.
