Lovelock honoured
; A street in the Olympic Park at Munich has been i named after the New Zealand : middle-distance champion, the late J. E. Lovelock. About 20 streets in the park were named after former Olympic champions, particularly those who won medals at the Olympics in Berlin in 1936. Official advice received in Wellington yesterday said Lovelock Weg (Lovelock Way) ran through the centre of the park close to the Olympic boxing hall and not far from the main stadium. Lovelock won the 1500 metres at the 1936 Olympics. —(PA.)
