Water polo to North Island
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The North Island beat the South Island, 12-9, in a water polo match at the Naenae Pool yesterday, as part of the national trials to find a team to play Australia in an Olympic elimination match. Scores were.—North: K. Mark (6), D. Ellis (2), G. Martlew (2), W. Martlew, B. Britten. South: B. Mustchin (4), I. Patchett (5).
