Lillee in top form (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) BRISBANE. Western Australia beat Queensland yesterday by 10 wickets in the Sheffield Shield match dominated by the pace bowler, D. Lillee. After dismissing Queensland for 103 and 203, Western Australia, with a first innings total of 278, needed only 29 runs in its second innings. Lillee finished the Queensland second innings with four wickets for 46 after being three for five at one stage. Scores: Western Australia 278 and 29/0, Queensland 103 and 203 (R. Parker 66, R. Surti 50; Lillee 4/46). At I Melbourne, Victoria looked assured of outright victory over . New South Wales. With only five second innings wickets standing after following on, New South Wales was still 300 runs behind. - Scores: New South Wales 67/9 dec., and 55/6 (R. Rowan 4/16), Victoria 422 (I. Redpath 118, A. Sieler 52 not out, Rowan 51).
