POLLUTION IN U.K.
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, Dec. 28. Two of the worst rivers are the Mersey, which, according to the report is an open sewer for mile after mile, and the Trent, south of Birmingham, in which the scientists could find no oxygen.
