Croats protest
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Dec. 28. More than 4000 chanting Croats demonstrated outside the Jugoslav Consulate in the exclusive harbourside suburb of Double Bay today. At one point, the leaders of the march tried to hurl a burning Croatian flag at the consulate, but police wrenched the flag from the protesting Croats and took it away. The marchers had earlier attended Masses in memory of the Croatian leader. Dr Ante Pavelic, who died on December 28, 1959. They carried placards attacking the Jugoslav regime and calling for the death of Marshal Tito for the murder of Croatian students. There were no arrests.
