The A.P.H style
Sir, —According to Laura Huxley (“This Timeless Moment,” P. 134) the word “psychedelic” meaning mind-
revealing or mind-opening, was coined by Dr Humphrey Osmond, M.R.C.S., and Aldons Huxley in 1957. Huxley was quite as successful a wordsmith as “A.P.H.” and had no less Latin and Greek. —Yours, etc.,
JAKE MILLER. Nelson, November 27,1971
