Seven-a-side Rugby

The growing popularity of the Linwood Rugby Club’s seven-a-side tournament for the under-weight grades (under sst to under Bst 71b) is reflected in the record number of entries for tomorrow’s tournament at Queen Elizabeth II Park. So far, 112 teams have entered, and this is 50 more than the first year (1969), and nearly 40 more than last season. Because of the large numbers in the under sst grade, it has been divided into two sections. The A and B teams form one section ,and all teams below these will comprise the second section.
