Mr Butterfield honoured
Mr L A. Butterfield, the chief stipendiary steward, was met yesterday by members of the executive to mark 25 yean of service with the Trotting Conference. Mr Butterfield was appointed a stipendiary steward in August, 1946. and he was promoted to his present position in 1957. Tributes to Mr Butterfield’s work were paid by the president (Mr R. J. Rolfe), who made a presentation.
