Thefts from houses
A food mixer, a watch and cash, worth a total of $2OO, were stolen when a house in Salisbury Street was burgled during daylight yesterday. A house in Bishop Street was also entered yesterday, and cuff links worth $lO were stolen. In burglaries on Thursday night, wigs worth $132 were taken from a hairdressing salon in Papanui Road; and $42.20 in cash was stolen from P. E. Clark and Company, Ltd, wholesale importer, 160 Tuam Street.
