Film showings
An unprecedented interest had been shown by visitors to the Canterbury Museum in the daily screenings of a television colour film produced by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on the life of John James Audubon, a famous painter of North American birds, the director of the museum (Dr R. S. Duff) said yesterday. The final showing of the film, supplied by the United States Information Service, would be today at 12.30 p.m., said Dr Duff. However, the exhibition of Audubon colour prints of birds and the original paintings of New Zealand birds by Molly Falla would continue-
