(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 2. The secretary of the i Northern Drivers’ Union (Mr G. H. Andersen) said today that he fully agreed with the criticism of the British Conference Lines’ decision to scrap container plans for New Zealand, made yesterday in Hastings by the Minister of Finance (Mr Muldoon). “I believe that Mr Muldoon’s statement is a reflection of the fact that the overseas monopolies’ treatment of this country is causing more and more criticism from more and more New Zealanders,” Mr Andersen said.
