Death from shock

(N.Z. Press Association) WHAKATANE, Sept. 2. A farm cadet died in the Whakatane Hospital from injuries suffered when an electric fence broke and touched an overhead power line on a Taneatua farm yesterday afternoon. He was Stewart Nelson Caiman, aged 18, of Tauranga. The accident happened when three men were straining an electric fence, which broke and whipped up to touch the power line. Mr Caiman died in hospital about two hours later. Another man is in hospital for observation.
