Call for legal abortion
(N.Z. Press Association) I LEVIN, Sept. 2. / A call for the legalisation of abortion was made by thi council of the National Youtl Congress at Otaki. The resolution, passed bl the social council, said aboil tions should be made avail able to al! women providing they first received counsel ling from a social worker. The resolution was passei after about 15 minutes ol fierce argument. More argu ment is expected when the resolution comes before the full council for a final decision.
