Lecturing task
Graeme Dingle and Jill Tremain may be taken by. ski plane from the Mueller Glacier either today or tomorrow to enable Mr Dingle to keep a lecturing engagement in Ashburton tomorrow night. Mr Dingle and Miss Tremain are camped at 5000 ft on the Mueller Glacier on the second stage of a winter traverse of the Southern Alps. A short reconnoitring trip yesterday to the head of the Fyfe Pass, must cross to reach the Mueller Glacier, showed the pass to be avalanching. . The weather was very bad and more snow is expected.
