FIVE TESTS IN ITINERARY
A total of 14 matches—including a oneday and a two-day fixture—will be played by the New Zealand cricket team in the West Indies next year.
There will be five tests, two of them at Trinidad, and the New Zealanders will meet each .of the islands once, including the tiny Windwards and Leewards in separate matches.
The tour lasts for nearly three months, and includes a good deal of Sunday play.
The itinerary is;— February 3.—v. University of West Indies, at Mena; February
5,7, 8, 9 v. Jamaica, at Kingston; February 11, 12, 13, 14 v. President’s XL at Montego Bay, February 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, first test. Kingston; February 25. 26, 27. v. Leewards, at Antigua; Veh. ruary 29-March 1 v. Tobago. March 3,4, 6, 6— v. Trinidad; March 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, second test, Trinidad; March 17, 18, 19, 20 v. Barbados; March 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, third test at Barbados; March 31, April 1,2, 3 v. Guyana. . _
April 6,7,8,9, 11.—Fourth test, Guyana; April 14, 16,16, v. Windwards, St Vincent; April 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, fifth test, Trinidad.
