Macabre death
Leeches which attacked a woman sufferer from epilepsy who had fallen Into a paddy field drainage system, sucked her body dry, a Brunei coroner’s court was told yesterday. Villagers spotted a hand sticking out of the water, and when they pulled the body out they found that leeches covered it and had sucked all the blood from the woman.— Brunei, August 2. •
