More falls on hesitant Australian market
Many marginal falls were recorded on Australian muling and oil markets yesterday. In. dustrials were barely steady on a day of generally hesitant trading. Bougainville shed 5c to 265c,'but New Broken Hill recovered 10c to 980 c; earlier it traded as low as 960 c. W.M.C. dropped 10c to 340 c, and Con. Gold shed the same amount to 730 c. G. Boulder fell 5c to 185 c, but Hamersley recovered that amount to 375 c. Peko put on 24c to 904 c, and Poseidon finned 50c to 2200 c. Among the oils, Beach was marked down 4c to 56c. Woodside recovered 8c to 128 c, and the contributing shares rose 2c to 88c. Bridge and Bounty were fractionally firmer. - - ; B.H.P. traded as low as 1315 c, but firmed to dose 10c higher. at 1330 c. -C.S.R. shed 10c to 526 c, and E-Z.L eased 33c to 295 c.
