Supreme Court Civil appeal dismissed
A civil appeal, involving a claim for about $2OOO, was dismissed by the Chief justice (Sir Richard Wild) in the Supreme Court yesterday. James Ewing Thomas, jun., a manager, appealed against the decision of a magistrate dismissing his claim against the receiver of W. J. R. Edlin and Son, Ltd, for about $2OOO for work done for the company between June 1, 1966, and October 31, 1967, when it went into receivership. Mr A. D. Holland appeared for Mr Thomas and Mr G. K.
