U.K. backing for pipeline
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, March 22. Britain has agreed to underwrite the cost of the participation by British firms in a SUS2OOm project for an oil pipeline running across Egypt to the Mediterranean, the Foreign Office has announced. ' The international project envisages a pipeline from a point 30 miles south of the Port of Suez to a point 15 miles west on the Mediterranean coast.
