A four-bedroomed house on a quarter-acre section at 30 Moncks Spur Road, which was to have been offered for auction by Sherris and Wilson, Ltd, today, has been sold privately for $18,750. The Government valuation is $10,600. Furniture and effects will be offered on the premises today. A one-third constructed concrete block house including a basement double garage on a section of 40 perches at 26 Dinton Street, Upper Riccarton, was sold at auction for $6750. The auctioneer was Mr C. M. Robertson, of Sherris and Wilson, Ltd. A four-bedroomed, twostorey house on 30 perches at 10 Tiora Place, Riccarton, offered by George Anderson and Son, Ltd, was passed in for $9750. The Government valuation is $BOOO. The auctioneer was Mr J. L. T. Dyer. Five acres of fallow land and a four-bedroomed house in Dawsons Road, Templeton, were passed in for $12,750 when offered by Cunningham and Prier, Ltd. The Government valuation is $7BOO. The auctioneer was Mr P. G. N. Rookes.
