$400 fine for bank thefts
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 19.
A bank clerk who stole $1099 from his employers during nine months by retaining customers’ deposits, was fined $4OO in the Auckland Magistrate’s Court yesterday and put on probation for two years. Lynn William Marson, aged 19, now employed as a painter's assistant, admitted the charge of theft as a servant from the Commercial Bank Savings Bank last week.
Mr D. G. Sinclair, S.M., also ordered him to pay $1099 restitution.
