Emergency to end
(N Z. Press Association) KUALA LUMPUR, Feb. 18. Malaysia’s State of Emergency—imposed after MalayChinese rioting in May, 1969 —will be lifted on Friday with the dissolution of the ruling Army, police, and civilian National Operations Council. The Prime Minister (Tun Abdul Razak) said the return to Parliamentary rule would be a momentous historic occasion.
