Examples of the new Toyota Corona hard-top are now in New Zealand. The car will cost about $3500 with a four-speed gearbox, or about $3700 with automatic transmission, and will be available only to holders of overseas funds. The Corona hard-top is powered by a 1707 c.c. four-cylinder overheadcamshaft engine producing 103 b.h.p. at 5500 r.p.m. and has a top speed of 100 miles an hour. Delivery time to New Zealand cus-
tomers will be three months. The two-door car has fully reclining front seats, which can be fitted with Care Pays Good driving habits can save your life, but they can also save money, tyre experts say. A careful driver can expect up to 50 per cent more wear from his tyres, and better wear from other parts of the car.
