Mill town family
A 10-part story set in an industrial town at the beginning of the last century begins from CHTV3 this afternoon. “Inheritance” has something in common with the popular “Champion House” series, for it follows the life of a mill family in a Midlands town. It stars James Bolam, Michael Goodliffe and John Thaw. Films There is considerable variety in the film fare showing at the week-end. There is a 1940 Charles Boyer-Bette Davis feature. “All This and Heaven Too” this evening. Based on a novel by Rachel Field, it is the story of an infamous romance, murder, suicide and scandal. Tomorrow evening there is a 1967 film, “Caprice.” This comedy, starring Doris Day and Richard Harris is a story of industrial espionage. Dirk Bogarde, lan Hunter and Dinah Sheridan are in “Appointment in London” on Sunday afternoon. This 1958 film takes viewers back to 1943, and Bomber Command of the R.A.F.
