Cent-a-run competition
At present, the South Canterbury Cricket Association stands to gain $l9O as a result of its senior batsmen’s efforts over the last three matches. The cricketers are sponsored at a cent for each run they score in the second round of five matches in the inter-chib competition. In addition, the Australian and New Zealand Banking Group, Ltd, has donated a prize for the player who returns the most money. The leading players are:— D. A.
