Easier Australian market across the boards
Mining and oil shares were easier on Australian stock exchanges yesterday, although some uranium and nickel stocks gained ground. Industrial, shares were quiet, and generally showed losses. Poseidon was firm on $5B and Queensland Mines improved 250 c to 3150 c.
Industrials weakened with : the mining stock. B.H.P. slip- ■ ped 20c and C.S.R. fell back : to 604 c, down 16c. E.Z.I. • closed 13c lower.
