INTERESTING career positions will be available with the Totalisator Agency Board early in 1971. A COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING COURSE for successful applicants will be held at the Board's Head Office in Wellington commencing February 10, 1971. Accommodation and travelling costs will be paid for those recruited from outside Wellington. The Course will last nine weeks and on completion an appointment will be to one of the Board's branches in the larger cities. ■ ■ i ■. THE DUTIES involve race day operational work, supervision and training of other workers, completion of accounting and statistical returns,and a wide range of work associated with off-course betting in New Zealand. It is necessary to work on Saturdays and Statutory Holidays, but a day off is given during the week. THE YOUNG MEN WE SEEK must not be less than 20 years of age and should have completed three years' secondary ec|ucation, preferably with School Certificate or University Entrance. They must be prepared to meet the challenge of an invigorating job and have the temperament and personality to become effective members of a branch team.
