HERITAGE FUNDS
The accumulated funds of, Heritage (Canterbury) would be exhausted in just over, three years, said- the presi- ( dent (Dr E. B. Reilly) in his annual report. The work of Heritage would be required for an-' other 15 years at least and the executive was looking I into ways of acquiring morei income, he said. “Although this is now the twenty-seventh annual report of Heritage the need for care of children of soldiers either killed or seriously wounded in World War n is still great, and as a result of wars in South-East Asia members are continually being added to our list” said Dr Reilly.
The financial position of the branch had worsened. Spending exceeded income by $3787, an amount $l6O more than last year.
