C.G.C. scheme finalists

The Canterbury area finals of the International Federation of the Farm Youth Exchange scheme to America for Country Girls were held in Rangiora recently. Misses Anne Burrows (Christchurch) and Georgie Ewing (MidCanterbury) were chosen to! go to the national finals in. Wellington on November 2. I Seven girls from the five districts in the Canterbury area entered the competition, which was organised by the North Canterbury District Committee of Country Girls’ Clubs. The girls had to answer questions from the judges about farming, gene-; ral knowledge, and C.G.C.! affairs.
