Sophia Loren still shaken

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) ROME, Oct. 15. The Italian actress, Sophia Loren, arrived home yesterday still shaken by the robbery of her jewels in New York. “I will never again buy jewellery,” she said. “It was, without doubt, the worst experience of my life, and the most dramatic. “I cried, I screamed, I implored, but it did me.no good. A big, black pistol was pressed against my forehead. I did not want to take any chances, because of my baby. Those men weren’t joking.” Miss Loren added that she did not care whether the stolen jewellery was recovered. “I only want to forget this whole thing—the jewellery means nothing to me,” she said.
