Fletcher issue of debentures
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct. 17. Fletcher Holdings, Ltd, has maintained last year’s record group turnover so far this year,. t * ie mana gmg-director (Mr J. C. Fletcher) says in the prospectus for the new debenture issue. As announced, the company is seeking $1,500,000 plus $500,000 in over-sub-scriptions. It was expected that trading would continue on the present basis. Profits for the first five months of the year indicated that the successful financial progress would also be maintained. Apart from a recent contract for an agricultural college in Malaysia, with a New Zealand content ’ of $350,000, the company had received a number of large New Zealand construction contracts since last balance date.
