Mannings negotiate
The directors of Mannings N.Z., Ltd, say that at the time the “don’t sell” advice to shareholders was given they had been approached by a large company. This has not to date been followed by any definite offer but the company concerned has stated that it is still inter' ested. In the meantime discussions are also proceeding with other firms interested in a takeover or in forming an association with Mannings. Shareholders will be advised immediately if, and when the directors have anything of a definite nature to report, they say.. : Kaniere Gold The Kaniere gold dredge worked 244 hours last month and moved 177,000 yards of spoil for 4070 z of bullion.
