TASMINEX REPORT
Directors reply to criticism (N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) SYDNEY, October 16. ( The directors of Tasminex [N.L. tonight replied to the report tabled in the Tasmanian and Victorian Parliaments this week after an investigation into dealings of the company’s stock. They said they were surprised at—and disagreed——with several of the conclusions drawn in the report, and were of the opinion that 'some evidence has been misi interpreted. ( The directors said the inspector (Mr J. W. Wilson) could and should have been assisted by independent experts in the fields of geology and share trading. They said the report primarily concerned individuals associated with the company and its Mount Venn prospect in Western Australia, and did not directly concern the working activities of the company. They said they expected that some individuals would reply to the report" and in particular to certain aspects contained therein.”
