Levin beats Motueka Levin beat Motueka by 20 points in the final of the national Jaycee debating competition in Christchurch last evening. The subject of the debate was. “That a man married is a man marred.” The winning team took the affirma- ’ tive. The final points were t 265 to 245. j The winning team was led r by Mr M. Turnbull assisted ' by Messrs P. Comber and J.;l Harris. The Motueka team was Messrs G. Hunt (leader), r D. Kay and D. Kennedy. t This is the first time either.: has won the competition t since its inception in 1952.1 Seventy-six teams competed this year. < The three judges for the t final were Messrs B. Harman, > C.
